A new housemate!

Ok, so you'll have to wait one more day for the explanation of the chocolate cake story...

Because... we have a new addition to our home and I just had to share right away!

We got her a bright blue crate at the local pet store...hopefully to alleviate those chase-after-us-every-day headaches we had with Bibi.

 She explored the yard today...Here she is checking out the mango tree. Can't wait til these mangoes are ready to eat!

 She has such a cute face!

She's officially Sone's dog this time. Lao people are superstitious about things and Nouy believes that she is not able to take care of two dogs at the same time and since she has one back in her hometown, she can't be the caregiver for any other dog or something bad will happen. It's a semantic issue really... the only one not going to be in charge of the dog is Christa. She is not a pet person.

Her name is Lily... I think the name fits because she's super calm and docile (not sure if she'll be an effective watchdog though! :)
