So you may be wondering where I'm going and what in the world I mean by letters across ocean shores. I mean, who writes letters anymore? And, as someone said to me, "that title sounds romantic." Well, it probably does because my sister, Jessie, helped me come up with the title, and everyone who knows her knows that she's a true romantic and the classiest of ladies :)

So anyway, one night we sat down to think of a name for my new blog. It was one of the most fun, laughter-filled family nights I can remember. As the number of those family times dwindles, at least for the next year, it was definitly a cherished moment! The main criteria for the name was that it had to be an acronym for the country I was going to. Ok, so if you need a minute, read the title again, and see if you can figure out which country it is :) For those of you who are avid readers of John and Abby's blog, don't judge my acronym for its simplicity! ;)
My hope is that this blog will indeed be a letter of sorts - a way for you to experience life with me, and a way for me to share all that the Father has been doing in (and hopefully!) through me. With today's technology, it sure doesn't take long to communicate across ocean shores anymore either!
